1. Plastic Piping. is excellent for making sanding files by using the outside surface of the pipe convex sanding files can be made and if the pipe is cut in half with a bandsaw the inside can be used as a concave sanding file. Plastic pipe comes in various sizes from 10mm to a 100mm Soil Pipe and even up to a wacking 300mm soil pipe. Hose pipes are also useful as they are flexible and can be bent to the shape of a moulding. I find the best way to fix the abrasive paper is to use double sided tape.
