Restoration of an Antique Oak Bureau by Richard Nice shows photographs before and after restoration except for the top two photographs which show the finished bureau.
The layout of the interior there are secret drawers behind the top drawers and on either side of the tabernacle.
These handles have just been cleaned therefore they are a bit bright and will tone down in a couple of days.

The fall was in all in separate pieces and had to be totally rebuilt and releather to the original
specifications.
You can still see the tapered strip of wood to fill in the gap where the wood has shrank over a period of time but it has been blended in to match in with the old wood.

The bureau was repaired were necessary and rebuild in some places and then the old finish stripped off, with methalyated spirits, restained and then repolished.
