Compound Angles

The table below has been compiled for you to use to cut out compound angles on your bandsaw or circular saw. It is not always possible to make the maxim use of this table, as there are limitations with the resetting of the mitre gauge on every other cut. Unless you have two mitre gauges of course ! Also the angle can only be applied to one side of most saws making it difficult to interpret the correct angle especially if you are trying to cut awkward moulding. So several trail cuts are recommended to confirm the correct setting. Remember if you are adrift by two degrees on a cut with a 6 sided object you will be 12 degrees out in total so take great care when setting out.
